Interpretation signs are used to give visitors detailed information about the site they are visiting. Using artwork supplied to us by our customer we produce a tough GRP graphics panel that is framed with an oak overframe. These signs can be post-mounted 'lectern' style or 'vertically', mounted to walls and fences or incorporated into a bespoke sign structure.
GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) graphics panels are extremely robust and vandal resistant. The long-lasting UV stable inks used for in the digital print process ensure that the graphics retain their colours for many years.
Also available are engraved map boards, a simple and reliable way of helping visitors to navigate their way around a site, by placing in strategic positions around a particular site. These are made by engraving a simple line map of the customers design, infilled with durable colours. These can be post-mounted or wall-mounted. See the gallery images below for an example.
Standard sizes are A0, A1, A2, A3 but we can produce these signs to any specific size.
Posts and frames can be left in a natural smooth-sanded finish or can be oiled, stained or painted in a colour of your choice.
